The U.S. Department of Transportation has released a new funding opportunity under the Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development (BUILD) program, offering $1.5 billion to support transformative surface transportation projects across the country. Awarded competitively, BUILD grants prioritize initiatives that enhance safety, environmental sustainability, quality of life, mobility, community connectivity, economic competitiveness, and innovation.
