Public-Private Partnerships (P3) Basics Overview – Boston, MA

Event Description

The P3 Basics Overview training, co-hosted by the BATIC Institute: An AASHTO Center for Excellence and NCSL, for public sector stakeholders interested in using public-private partnership (P3) procurement for transportation infrastructure projects. The 6-hour course offers a general understanding of P3 as an alternative delivery method, with instruction drawn from case studies and real life examples demonstrating how to put P3s into action.

The course was split over two days and featured lessons taught by P3 industry practitioners, and incorporated conversations with public sector professionals leading P3 efforts across the country. The training helps state DOT employees and legislators consider the following critical questions:

The P3 Basics Overview training uses a blend of expert instruction and case study analysis to highlight the core principles and practices that make up a successful P3 project.
