LTAP/TTAP Support

The Build America Center has the knowledge and resources to provide local agencies and tribes with the technical assistance and support they need so they can apply for Federal Grants to support their local infrastructure projects.

Below are ways that the BAC can provide assistance:

Available Funding Opportunities – The BAC website provides a complete list of Funding Opportunities from which local agencies and tribes are eligible to receive funding.

Online Tutorials – The BAC has developed an online video tutorial that walks agencies through the steps/process to apply for a Federal Grant.

On-Demand Technical Assistance – Local agencies and tribes can contact a BAC staff member to assist them in identifying Funding Opportunities from which local agencies and tribes are eligible to receive funding. BAC will also support local agencies to develop eligible projects or programs and to prioritize grant application strategies. Contact Kathleen Frankle <kfrankle@umd.edu> for targeted technical assistance.

Locality Forums – The BAC will host forums to bring together transportation, planning, and policy officials from counties, cities, townships, tribes, and communities to exchange ideas, share experiences, and discuss concerns.
