Station Development

This event took place June 22-23, 2016, in Phoenix, AZ.

Event Description

This peer exchange for transportation practitioners focused on advancing station development projects, including the renovation of passenger train station assets and associated area and corridor developments. The discussion built upon the BATIC Institute’s webinar case study of the Denver Union Station Area Redevelopment Project and was informed by new research on value capture being conducted through the Transit Cooperative Research Program. The peer exchange covered a variety of topics related to public-private partnerships, funding sources and financing approaches, and value capture opportunities.
