The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), signed into law on November 15, 2021,
mandates Value for Money (VfM) analysis for certain categories of projects that are carried out using Federal financial assistance. This requirement has created a growing demand for clear, actionable guidance, accessible resources, and consistent standards to support the development of robust VfM analyses.
This webinar will explore how the Build America Bureau, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), and the Build America Center (BAC) are addressing these needs. From comprehensive guidance to help the public understand statutory requirements, to educational and technical assistance resources on Public-Private Partnerships (P3s), and principles and standards designed to enhance clarity and consistency in VfM analysis, this session will provide valuable insights to support effective infrastructure project delivery across the U.S.
