The Gordie Howe International Bridge Project will bring redundancy, improved border processing, capacity for future traffic, and highway-to-highway connectivity to the busiest commercial land border crossing on the Canada-US border. This once-in-a-generation project is an example of collaboration across technical disciplines and communities to address numerous unique constraints. It will provide tremendous value to stakeholders across the regions and across the continent, through the efficient travel of good and people, while delivering a comprehensive community benefits program to the host communities.
