ARTBA P3 Conference’s Special Session: New Ways to Help Build America

The Build America Center (BAC) was the topic of a special session during the 34th Annual ARTBA Public-Private Partnerships (P3) in Transportation Conference held in August.  The “New Ways to Help Build America” session featured Dr. Qingbin Cui, Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Maryland and Director of the Build America Center; Sam Beydoun, Technical Assistance Lead at the Build America Bureau; and Patrick DeCorla-Souza, Public-Private Partnerships Program Manager at Federal Highway Administration.

The ARTBA P3 in Transportation Conference connected industry leaders, public officials, and other experts from across the country for discussions on project delivery, and utilizing and leveraging the historic federal transportation investment from the Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act (IIJA). The three day conference in Washington D.C. featured expert speakers and panelists from across the transportation field covering topics such as risk allocation, project development, and the state of research. The conference also featured plenty of networking opportunities, a mentoring luncheon, and an awards luncheon.
